California’s Department of Health Care Services Agency has renewed it’s 1115 Medicaid wavier and will distribute funds for Providing Access and Transforming Health (PATH) Program. PCG has been identified as the Third-Party Administrator for this effort. As a part of the effort to advance healthcare outcomes in a collaborative and comprehensive manner, PCG will work with Managed Care Plans, Enhanced Care Management and Community Supports contractors to support State-wide Collaboratives that will support system wide integration and improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead grant application review process to determine whether applicants meet grant eligibility requirements

• Oversee team of Grant Support Specialists and provide support and guidance in grant application review process

• Conduct quality assurance review process of grant applications for second-level review

• Review grant budgets for accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain and monitor grant application workflow for review assignments, approvals, and processing through the grant lifecycle.

• Oversee grant agreement execution with approved applicants.

• Assist finance team with development of payment files and other financial tracking activities.

• Communicate in a positive, timely and efficient manner with all internal and external stakeholders.

• Review grantee progress reports as required relating to expenditure reporting and other required program data.

• Prepare aggregated grant program reports as required.

Required Skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite including, Excel, Word and SharePoint

• Ability to manage and report on basic financial data

• Strong customer service orientation

• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Fluent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and business teams

• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong electronic file management skills

Qualifications

Desired Experience

• Experience with grant management, application processing, application reviews, etc.

• Experience with managing complex business processes and workflows

• Experience leading teams

• Prior experience in health & human services or community-based services fields preferred.

• Understanding of justice-involved individuals, re-entry from prison and jail, and the intersection of justice and behavioral health in the community

• Understanding of California CalAIM, and/ or Medicaid managed care.

Education

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years’ work experience in a related field
