Responsibilities + Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects in the state education data solution service line, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. + Plans the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization + Engages with education clients and other stakeholders to understand vision, goals, requirements and envisions solutions to meet those needs + Develops new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization and the needs of clients + Develops and implements long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program + Develops an annual budget and operating plan to support the program + Develops a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement + Ensures that program activities comply with all relevant legislation and leverage relevant standards + Ensures all staff members receive orientation and appropriate training in accordance with organizational standards + Provides direction, input and feedback to project staff + Communicates with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for the program and to solicit input to improve the program + Liaises with other managers to ensure the effective and efficient program delivery + Coordinates the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency + Identifies and evaluates the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks + Monitors the program activities on a regular basis and conduct an annual evaluation according to the program evaluation framework + Supervises and develops staff members who support the work of the education practice Qualifications Required skills: + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Keen attention to detail + Proficient with Microsoft Office suite Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required Experience: 5+ years related expereince, prior project management experience EEO Statement Public Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to celebrating diversity and intentionally creating a culture of inclusion.
