Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity at Pullman Auckland Hotel and Apartments for a Reservations Supervisor to join the team. Reporting to the Reservations Manager and working in a close knit team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the hotels reservations.
As the Reservations Supervisor your responsibilities include; working with the Front Office Manager, Director of Revenue, Director of Sales and the Event Sales Team to ensure all enquires are successful converted to ensure the Hotels targets are met. Managing group bookings and FITs are part of the day to day operations.
Processing commissions, upselling during guest interactions, managing and closing group accounts along with supervising, training and providing reservations guidance for new starters.
Qualifications
With current reservations agent experience under your belt, you’ll be ready to take the next step in your career with this busy and varied role. Previous experience in the hotel environment is necessary along with a dynamic, guest focussed and vibrant personality. You need the administration skills of a rock star and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities.
The ability to build relationships quickly to mutual benefit with a variety of people will help you succeed in the role. You will have exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail. Navigating around a computer using Excel, Opera cloud, PowerPoint and Outlook are second nature to you in addition to be highly analytical.
