Job Description

From the moment guests step into our informal lobby hub to the panoramic views offered by our rooftop bar and dining area, Te Kaahu beckons a rare opportunity to revel in luxury and soak in the mesmerizing sunset vistas stretching from the Manukau Harbour to the heart of Auckland City.

If you are a dedicated, service-oriented individual who is passionate about the art of food and beverage service, and if you are eager to be part of a team that is poised to redefine premium dining, we invite you to be a part of the Te Kaahu experience as a Food & Beverage Attendant.

• Greet and welcome guests, assist with enquiries and restaurant bookings
• Assist guests with menu offerings and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling
• Maintain clean and neat presentation of bar and restaurant area(s), following set opening, closing and daily procedures
• Be knowledgeable of and operate within the Food Safety Program (e.g. Awareness of allergies and dietary requirements)
• Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance; ensure items are announced

Qualifications

You will be:

• Minimum 1 year experience working in a Food & Beverage role in a medium to large al a carte restaurant.
• Experience in a 5 Star restaurant is an advantage.
• A complete understanding of restaurant service standards and protocol.
• Able to work indepentently and demonstrated initiative in a dynamic environment
• Enthusiastic, driven, and dedicated to providing guests with an exceptional and treasured experience that they will cherish
• Engaging and posses an infectious manner while remaining service-oriented with an eye for detail
• Passionate about the hotel industry and be knowledgeable about food safety practices
• Providing outstanding service to guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience, attending to their needs, and exceeding their expectations
