As our Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for transporting production materials and biomass between Pure Sunfarms’ two facilities located within 1 km from each other. You help to create a seamless operation by ensuring materials flow safely and efficiently from their origin to their destination. You know the importance of transporting cargo and operate with the highest standards of safety. As a facilitator, you support order picking and shipment preparation for outbound goods, ensuring everything gets properly loaded for transportation with the goal to deliver exceptional products and experiences to our customers.

Essential Functions

Conduct transport of shipments of materials between the two Pure Sunfarms’ facilities driving a 5-ton truck in compliance with Health Canada and Pure Sunfarms regulations and procedures

Loading and unloading delivery trucks

Prepare outbound shipments for external customers and site-to-site intercompany transfers

Assist in performing quarterly and year-end inventory cycle counts as required

Ensure inventory accuracy and collaborate with Inventory team when regular inventory audits are conducted

Daily housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean work environment

Other Duties

We work in a fast-paced environment, rolling up our sleeves to build something bigger than ourselves. Other duties may arise from time to time/most of the time and as a team, we look to support each other.

Your Brand, Your Story

Maintain a valid Class 5 B.C. driver’s license and clean driving record

Minimum high school diploma

Previous experience with ERP/WMS systems

Basic data entry and mathematics skills

Attention to detail and excellent communication, both verbal and written skills

Able to display high sense of urgency and can deliver on urgent requests

Certified on stand-up order picker, turret trucks and/or motorized pallet jacks or ability to be trained to obtain certifications

Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and able to lift minimum 50 lbs.

Safety-orientated and able to follow safety procedures recommended by the JOHSC

Must have the ability to maintain and pass an RCMP criminal record check and obtain security clearance. Please note our background check process includes proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status.
