PuroClean Hiring for Administrative Assistant Job at Kelowna Full Time

PuroClean is currently in search of a proactive and organized individual to join our expanding company as an Administrative Assistant.

This is an exciting time for our franchise, as we have experienced immense growth with an unlimited horizon ahead of us in Kelowna and the surrounding region.

In this role, you will ensure our team functions as a well-oiled machine by overseeing and managing daily operations, and with proven success, there is an opportunity to transition into an Office Manager position.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the franchise owners, you will work to fulfill the following duties and responsibilities:

• Monitoring all communication platforms including emails and phone calls

• Working in QuickBooks to invoice, as well as follow up on accounts receivables and administer accounts payables

• Running payroll administration

• Conducting customer on-boarding and creating new work orders

• Managing the flow of paperwork

• Ensuring job files are organized, up to date, and comprehensive for in house analysis and send offs to insurance companies

• Setting up and maintaining vendor accounts, including on-boarding and payments

• Maintaining inventory of office consumables

• Identifying opportunities to set up new processes and organize information within the franchise

• Learning and utilizing Verisk (restoration job management software) to implement processes and efficiencies to direct future business operations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of general administrative experience

• Experience in accounts payables and accounts receivables

• Independent with strong organizational skills

• Ability to work as a positive contributor to a high performing team

• Ambitious with a strong desire to initiate tasks and self manage

• Experience in payroll (or ability to learn)

• Previous experience managing inventory is an asset

This is a full-time Monday to Friday position with flexible core business hours.
