A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.
Our Financial Analysis and Reporting team is responsible for managing PwC’s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As part of the team, you’ll help with budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services and financing.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in financial reporting, accounting, auditing, financial systems and business processes, as well as analyzing and delivering reporting of data to finance leaders to enable effective decision making. Experience should center around knowledge of the following:
Preparing of full set financial statements and accompanying footnotes;
Researching and applicating US GAAP standards for financial statement reporting/disclosures;
Utilizing analytical techniques for understanding the performance of the business;
Identifying and escalating changing trends in balance sheet performance indicators, with a preferred focus on a professional services firm; and,
Understanding of Firm-wide data automation/visualization tech tools and awareness around how these resources are best applied.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing stakeholder needs by effectively working in an agile environment supporting the overall mission of the Finance function which can be achieved through the following (but not limited to):

Proactively building and maintaining relationships with business partners, finance leaders, and stakeholders;

Meeting and communicating with cross-functional teams in order to complete assigned reporting tasks accurately and on time effectively;
Assisting with preparation of regulatory and statutory financial statements, analysis, and other reporting deliverables as required;
Assisting with leadership reporting and operational analysis of transactions, including completing research, accurately answering manager and stakeholder inquiries, while also proactively anticipating these inquiries and reporting potential concerns that may impact financial results;
Analyzing complex information, utilizing multiple sources – which may have conflicting information, to build a range of meaningful analysis with a relevant point of view to inform decision making;
Delivering and analyzing accounting/financial results accurately utilizing data analytics/modeling tools;
Providing analytical and technical assistance to all staff;
Enabling adherence to policies/procedures,drive awareness/understanding of policies/procedures and maintenance of policies/procedures; and,
Utilizing the Firm’s standard suite of work solutions in the normal scope of work, including upskilling, such as Alteryx, PowerBI, Google Suite,, Excel4Apps, SAP R3, Business Warehouse, Oracle, etc.
