A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.
Our Policy, Strategy, and Leadership – Practice Support team provides strategic oversight, manages operations, and develops policies for all aspects of PwC’s Information Technology team.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following area: -Understanding of change management strategies and IT transformation initiatives along with operational experience in applying these;
-Working in a global IT organisation and an understanding of cross cultural communications issues;
-Understanding and managing an operating budget that supports agreed-upon goals and service levels;
-Understanding Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and the development of dashboard reporting, usage statistics, administrator actions and other service-relevant data;
-Working in the areas of Enterprise Architecture, PMO, Communications & Change Management and Portfolio and Investment Management;
-Managing staff questions/comments to Leadership and respond or escalate appropriately;
-Developing contacts/relationships and work with subject matter specialists across the organisation.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:
-Working with stakeholders to understand and document their specific business requirements and relay information to the appropriate contact in the organization;
-Understanding business issues and coordinate with relevant IT leaders to maintain alignment between the IT initiatives and the current and future direction of the firm;
-Supporting technical security operations and information security standards, such as the ISO 27001 information security standard;
-Identifying and proactively addressing IT issues that arise;
-Building effective relationships with key stakeholders and other customers as appropriate;
-Understanding and managing agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and conduct investigations or analysis on variations from expected performance levels;
-Promoting a culture of innovation;
-Seeking opportunities for improvement within role, processes, team and the IT organisation as a whole;
-Promoting continuous service improvements for the customer and end user experiences, influencing others internally and externally through both direct and indirect reports;
-Displaying a customer focus background with commercial awareness and strategic thinking capability; and
-Providing high levels of customer service to IT users in a large organisation.
