A career in Learning and Development, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of clients employees by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives. You’ll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of PwC to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy.
Our Learning and Development Strategy team maintains relationships with clients, stakeholders, and key partners for learning and development resources that will help serve assigned client groups. As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for building and managing relationships with appropriate leadership team members, learning committees, and other client service representatives to understand the assigned groups strategy and priorities related to their learning and development goals.

Working in a variety of human capital settings, especially within talent acquisition and learning and development, as well as other critical IFS functions such as Procurement, OGC/Risk Management and Finance;

Translating learning approaches that meet business needs into effective credentialed curriculum learning strategies and leading a team of multi-skilled L&D professionals to achieve goals;

Sharing best practices across L&D, IFS and the Network related to all aspects of the US credentialing strategy, including While You Work, badging, Alliance relationships and other unique programs;

Managing investment, budget and resource needs;
Instituting strategies that drive transformational change and managing the process;
Collaborating with business leaders to create innovative solutions that meet their needs, particularly as associated with a wide array of learning credentials, and solve talent challenges;
Creating quality outcomes independently and by leveraging resources;
Analyzing, synthesizing and translating significant amounts of information from multiple diverse sources, (e.g., external higher education trends, talent requirements, LOS or business unit emerging strategies), into recommended learning approaches aligned with L&D strategy, mindful of credentialing priorities (i.e., skills PwC wants to be known for, Alliance relationships, etc.) and PwC’s people strategy goals;
Working effectively with leaders in the articulation of transformational change for their people learning strategy in large, complex or ambiguous settings;
Teaming effectively with key LOS and IFS business sponsors, such as Talent, and other IFS and Human Capital functional teams, external thought leaders and university professionals to implement a plan that accomplishes PwC’s credentialing, While You Work and badging strategy goals;
Incorporating PwC’s Network Badge Programme into credentialing outcomes;
Planning and delivering high quality outcomes for evolving, large scale, high visibility, complex, international human capital projects – such as PwC’s While You Work strategy while simultaneously guiding and creating accountability amongst multi-functional teams and across multiple projects;
Forecasting investment requirements, working with project management team to establish financial budgets and resource needs, monitoring activities and driving accountability for outcomes across all aspects of management reporting;
Prioritizing, making decisions and driving outcomes while being mindful of multiple factors such as risk, change management, assessment requirements, cost, timing, CPE implications, PwC brand, etc.;
Displaying negotiation skills including conflict resolution;
Assessing value and effectiveness of overall credentialing strategy and communicating value delivered to sponsors/stakeholders;
Liaising with the commercialization team on opportunities for shared value through intersections and crossovers; Using design thinking (including persona development, affinity mapping, journey mapping, and prototyping);
Using agile project management techniques (including sprint planning, backlog management and sprint review);
Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging learning technology trends and experience innovating with new learning technology tools;
Analyzing data and communicating data insights to drive decision making (leveraging market leading tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, etc.); and,
Leveraging the Google suite of tools to drive efficiency, productivity, and collaboration.
