PYYNE Digital Looking for Junior Software Engineer (I) at New York City Metropolitan Area Full Time

About the Job

PYYNE is looking for a Junior Software Engineer capable of working across the full stack (or, alternatively, highly specialized either on the front or backend) to contribute to our Engineering Acceleration Service teams.

This individual would play an important contributing role in PYYNE client teams assigned to clients, helping develop modern and scalable systems, as well as being mentored by senior team members.

Who You Are

• You are a person with exceptional talent and drive, and you solve real business problems by creating complete technical solutions.
• 1+ Years of experience working across the full web stack in production environments – or are highly specialized either on the Front or Backend
• You have minimum 1+ experience building and scaling applications in JavaScript or Typescript (proficiency in Go, Python, Ruby on Rails, or similar are nice to have)
• You have strong data and API modeling skills
• You care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery and automated testing
• A capable and flexible contributor with a tried and tested process for learning new tools and delivering with them quickly
• Experience with technologies such as Node.js, React.js, etc.
• A capable communicator and someone who is easy to work with 🙂

• Deliver solutions as well as consult on best practices and improvements for our clients
