This is an exciting phase in our history and we are looking for experienced Software Engineert to join us in Brisbane, as we embark on our next phase of growth.
Working in conjunction with our customer, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing GUI
and software for monitoring, controlling and recording data from experimental propulsion and payload technologies
including the Development of:
Maintenance and extension of existing Python tools.
Software applications for the processing and distribution of telemetry data.
Software applications (Python) for the live display of telemetry data (received from payloads via Ethernet streaming).
Plugins for the SIMDIS visualisation environment (C++).
Software applications for the automation of laboratory hardware.
Test regimes to verify the stability and reliability of the software.
Document software, generate user guides and train operators in use of developed applications.
To be Sucessful in the Position of Software Engineer you will require the following
C++ working with existing APIs/software environments (experience working with SIMDIS is advantageous);
Python skills including configuration and display GUIs;
Data processing and plotting for live and recorded data streams;
Knowledge of UDP and related communications technologies
