The Role

Our collaborative and specialised Insurance & Advice Applications team sitting within the IT Delivery business unit are seeking multiple skilled

Senior Software Quality Engineers

to join them on a permanent basis. In this diverse role, you’ll apply your expertise in automated testing solutions to uplift QSuper’s technical capability relating to our insurance applications, systems and processes.

As a Senior within the team, you’ll be confident engaging and managing business and technical stakeholders and challenging the status quo to seek opportunities to improve ways of working. You’ll utilise your expertise in automation software to promote a culture of automation through testing and throughout the software delivery lifecycle. Skills, Experience and Qualifications

As a

Senior Software Quality Engineer

ideally, you’ll demonstrate some or most of the below:
Experience with relevant software development using modern programming languages (C# or Java) with demonstrable experience in Quality Engineering

A passion for coaching and uplifting other team members to ensure systems are designed for reliability, performance and testability

Experience operating under Agile methodology

Knowledge of best-practice development and automation practices, ideally with experience creating test automation frameworks and quality engineering practices

Expertise in one or more relevant tools or systems such as:
Cucumber

Java/JUnit

SQL

Selenium

Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, other related discipline will be highly regarded.
