QuadMed is seeking a COVID Collection Technician to join our team to support multilple clinic locations. The COVID Collection Technician will provide COVID testing collection either on-site or in a virtual setting in accordance with all infectious disease policies and procedures.

Part-time, Full-time and As-Needed opportunities available. Shifts available would be Monday – Saturday, 8:00am to 8:00pm Central Time.

Key Responsibilities

Nasal swab or saliva based COVID collection

Maintains clean and healthy work environment

Adheres to laboratory safety policies and procedures

Utilizes proper patient identification

Conducts ongoing sanitizing and cleaning of designated vaccination stations.

Adheres to required PPE

Follows Quadmed/Client workflows and processes

Ensures patient confidentiality and meeting customer service expectations throughout the entire process.

Maintain a professional demeanor

Travel as necessary to sites (for on-site technician role)

Qualifications

Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis

Education:
High school or equivalent

Experience:
Allied health or Laboratory experience required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Requires the ability to communicate effectively

Requires strong organizational skills

1 year of Customer service experience required

Familiarity with medical software and equipment preferred

Computer skills required

Proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion
