Experienced Full Stack Engineer

8+ years overall experience

5+ years specific related experience

Possess or have the ability to obtain a Security+ certification

Bachelors Degree or higher in Information Technology/Cyber Security or any related Technical field

Experience working within the development teams to ideate software solutions

Previous experience creating modern web-based apps that support the visualization of data

Ability to write effective APIs

Experience creating unit tests for developed code while mitigating code smells, security hotspots, and aligning with best code practices

Experience troubleshooting, debugging & upgrading software

Experience With React With Preferred Background In Typescript

Experience with VSCode/Chrome development tools

Previous consulting experience and understanding customer/business needs is a plus

Experience leveraging CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, SonarQube is desired

Experience with Agile practices a plus

Duties

Experience with source control management (e.g., Git) is preferred

Supporting the development of analytical apps where there is core expertise in one area (i.e., React or Java) with the ability to support development areas in other parts of the apps. React experience is preferable.

Creating unit tests leveraging frameworks like Jest

Supporting the creation of the user story backlog, grooming the acceptance criteria, and estimating/sizing the stories to be pulled for each sprint

Participating in design & creation of scalable software

Writing clean, functional code on the front- and/or back-end

Testing & fixing bugs or other coding issues
