SUMMARY
The Receiving/Order entry processor is responsible for the processing and coordinating of part orders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Releases, collates and scans orders to shop floor personnel.
• Creation and tracking of travelers
• Prioritizes orders according to needs
• Matches shipped orders/packing list with invoices
• Maintains communication with shop floor amount of work load throughout the day and notifies of detailed or special request packing instructions
• Communicates to Order Entry personnel daily on order changes, special/rush shipments, order tracking data, order weights and dimensions.
• Ensures customers receive correct order information through mail or fax
• Inspects products for quality
• verify unit count against packing list and receiving documents

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates degree in supply chain management, logistics, purchasing, business administration or related field.
• 1 or more years of applicable experience related to inventory management or purchasing
• Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Strong organizational skills are critical; ability to handle multiple task simultaneously
• Strong customer service orientation
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, understands the importance of follow-up and maintaining open communication.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of Kanban systems
• Knowledge of paint and coatings industry and process
• knowledge of DoD regulations, process, and procedures
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Epicor ERP software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
