Quantifi Hiring for Junior Software Developer, APAC Job at Sydney, Australia Full Time

Our ideal candidate is a recent graduate with a strong desire to learn and explore different aspects of software development. We are seeking a talented developer to work as part of a team on the development of cutting-edge applications and services supporting cross-asset trading and risk management. The successful candidate will have a passion for software development and the desire to constantly improve both their skills and the solutions they work on.
This opportunity will provide the right individual the ability to learn from some of the top people in the finance industry. Our senior team includes individuals with years of experience in top-tier financial service firms including Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Bear Stearns.
Responsibilities:

• Design, development, implementation, and testing of new features in Quantifi’s comprehensive software products
• Working with Sales and Product Management in the ongoing development of our products
• Working with our clients in understanding their needs
• Provide first level support for local clients when needed
• Assisting Helpdesk personnel with client issues when required

Skills:

• BS and/or MS/PhD in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Strong object-oriented analysis, design and development skills
• Up to 3 years’ experience in C++, C#, or Java
• Experience in relational databases and SQL is desirable
