Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Law Clerk at Queen City Law. The Law Clerk will be responsible for assisting lawyers in legal research, drafting and preparation of legal documents, communication with clients, writing reports and memos, and other administrative tasks as required. Would assist QCL’s award winning Immigration Team.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of law and legal principles
• Excellent legal document preparation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in legal research and analysis
• Ability to write reports and memos

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include:

• A degree in law or related field
• Experience working in a law firm
• Knowledge of New Zealand commercial, property development, litigation and immigration law
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
• Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin
• Ability to fit into team culture, understand shareholder mentality and add value.
