Contracted Worker: Software and Systems Engineer (2 positions)

Contract Length: Up to 12 months (April 2022) with possibility of extension.

REQUIREMENTS:
Queensland Rail is seeking mid-level experienced candidates with development experience in control or engineering systems with an emphasis on procedural programming languages and an engineering background.
ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for 2 x experienced Software and Systems Engineer required for a key role in the delivery of Queensland Rail Major Projects. The work will involve adaptations to existing operational systems in support of the ETCS Inner City and Cross River Rail projects. This will be a role in the Real Time Information Systems team performing integration of a new Traffic Management System with the existing Universal Traffic Control system.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate procedural programming languages and an engineering background as well as:
Experience in the following programming languages and technologies are preferred:
Must have a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or approved equivalent degree:
