We are looking for a General Operative to join our team on the Production Floor. You will be working in our bakery facility, and you will support our team of bakers and confectioners.

You will work on the production line, monitoring the quality control of products, packing, and loading product for distribution. Working as part of a team, you will be applying practical skills, working quickly, accurately and with excellent attention to detail with full concentration at all times. All training will be provided so if you are looking to change career and have a passion for baking this role could be good for you.

Main Duties & Responsibilities will include:

• Producing baked products for our retail outlets
• Check IT System for incoming orders.
• Weighing of ingredients depending on the product and the number of products required.
• Ensuring to meet deadlines.
• Packing finished stock into boxes and labelling accordingly.
• Starting, operating, tending, stopping, and cleaning machines as well as assembling the finished product for storage.
• Loading and unloading items from machines, boxes, production lines, pallets etc
• Ensuring a clean and tidy working environment
