Social Media Content Creator

THIS IS AN ON-SITE JOB. The right candidate must be able to come to the office to fulfill the daily duties.

DroppingBuy is a Los Angeles-based online grocery store startup that
provides the fastest grocery delivery in downtown Los Angeles,
promising door-to-door delivery within a15-45 minutes time frame. We are
competing with the biggest players in the grocery delivery market —
DoorDash, GoPuff, Amazon Fresh, InstaCart.

We are looking to bring on a motivated, hyper-focused, and creative Social
Media Content Creator to help grow DroppingBuy social media accounts. The
right person for this position will have a demonstrated record of successful
and engaging social media content that has significantly fueled a company’s
growth. Video editing and graphic design experience are essential for
this job opportunity.

• Responsibilities

Create engaging visual content for social media platforms like
Instagram, Meta, and TikTok that in in-line with the DroppingBuy brand
standards.
Publish timely social media content to reach critical audiences about
DroppingBuy and its’ product.
Shoot, edit, and create graphics for social video content.
Develop, use, and report insights that will help continuously improve
DroppinBuy content strategy.
Search for social media influencers that will help to promote
DroppingBuy social media accounts.
Work cross-functionally with the DroppingBuy team to achieve the desired
results.
Participate in the weekly meeting to brainstorm new ideas that will help
promote theDroppingBuy brand.
Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral.

• Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required
2 years of social media/content creation experience
Intermediate video filming/editing and graphic design experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Los Angeles, CA 90015: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Social media marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Writing skills: 1 year (Preferred)
