About the Opportunity
As Web Developer, you will sit within an incubation and delivery team as a key member of a small cross-functional team of experts. You will have the freedom to explore test-and-learn opportunities while being a key stakeholder in ongoing tracking, monitoring and optimisations of existing projects. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our products and services using a variety of programming languages, databases and technologies.
Key responsibilities are:
- Define and review technical requirements for application, including security, integration, and quality requirements.
- Create technical designs for individual development components, based on business requirements and functional designs.
- Determine the completeness and consistency of all technical designs; resolve any inconsistencies discovered.
- Configure, build, and test application technical components.
- Work with other developers within the core technical team to ensure the configuration of custom components meet application requirements.
- Responsible for creating common test data for delivered components and managing peer code reviews to ensure traceability of design requirements.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Bachelor’s Degree in either Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Mathematics, Computer Systems or equivalent experience
- 5+ Years of front-end web development experience
- Extensive experience in different DevOps tools and frameworks
- Experience with web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object-oriented design.
- Experience in cross-browser and cross-device feature support and rendering quirks
- Experience in implementing Testing Frameworks.
- Ability to interpret and implement web designs, seeking proactive clarification where required.
