Radisson Hotels Americas Hiring for Part Time Night Auditor – Radisson RED Minneapolis at Minneapolis, MN Full Time

Join the RED community and be part of our front office team in the position of overnight Night Auditor at the vibrant Radisson RED Minneapolis Downtown!

Night Audit Responsibilities

• Conduct Daily Audit for guest charges and postings and sales activity to ensure financial controls are compliant with brand standards
• Performing all end of day front desk and night audit functions, including reviewing cashier audits for accuracy, balancing credit card postings to computer, maintaining computer database integrity daily, and auditing of master bills.
• Preparing balances, posts, and distributes all necessary reports on a daily basis, as well as preparing computer systems for following day.
• Following cash handling procedures as outlined by the accounting department
• Responsible for providing guests with assistance in lobby during check-in and check-out process throughout their stay
• Collecting payment at checkout and provides change for guests as needed
• Ensuring accurate and timely recording and reporting of all property receipts

Security Responsibilities

• Patrols hotel on a regular basis
• Ensures all hotel entrances are locked and unlocked per hotel policy
• Closes the different outlets each night and ensures that all meeting rooms and exhibit rooms are secured
• Completes daily security log, including pertinent information on each shift

Handles complaints, investigates, and thoroughly reports on customer or employee injuries, thefts, assaults, lost property, car accidents in lot, loud parties, vandalism, and other customer complaints as necessary.

• Takes appropriate action on hotel cleanliness issues and general hotel services

Responds to housekeeping cleanliness concerns after hours, emergencies; coordinates the partial or complete evacuation of the hotel such as fire, armed robbery, severe injuries, power failure.

• Assists with guest inquiries

Responds to guest requests for extra amenities, maintenance requests, etc.

Key requirements:

• Preferred 2+ years of experience within the hospitality front desk/accounting/security experience
• Associates Degree preferred
• Must be able to work 3rd shift from 11pm-7am
• Proficient in math with the ability to make accurate mathematical calculations
• Creative problem solver and innovator- ability to resolve conflicts with ease
• Natural relationship builder
• Collaborative, confident, energetic, optimistic, flexible, and adaptable
• Passionate about the hospitality industry, RED and the RED experience
• Proficient with technology
