Job description:
RajahRam Caterers, a leading catering company specializing Sri Lankan and South Indian food in Toronto, is currently seeking a manager with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills to manage the catering services. Ideal candidate would be passionate about food, willing to lead and manage staff and have strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
Ensure smooth operation of catering services

Ensure that the quality of the food is of a high standard

Assist in planning, assigning and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining associate, addressing complaints and resolving problems

Running the business in line with health and safety, food hygiene, and nutritional regulations

Manage staff and prepares schedules of staff on a weekly basis

Monitor the quality of the service to customers and assure product delivered to customers is of optimum quality

Motivate and train catering staff to get the best result out of each individual

Develop the business by continually seeking opportunities to increase sales and improve service anticipating changes and planning accordingly

Oversee product ordering and inventory controls

Develop the client relationship

Must be able to work flexible hours

Requirements:
Familiarity with Sri Lankan and South Indian cuisine

Proven leadership experience in a Catering environment

Ability to develop and deliver sound recommendations

Passion for food

Passion for selling

Detail oriented

Proficiency on computer systems

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to handle stressful situations

Analytical skills

Organization and planning skills

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

Ability to delegate effectively

Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
