Responsibilities

o Continuously produces at a high level of productivity with some supervision.

o Capable of changing fixtures with assistance of supervisor.

o Stays within approved levels of robot manipulation (i.e., use Teach, Teach Enable, Block Forward, Block Back,

and Wire Feed buttons). Always consults supervisor when problems cannot be resolved in above mentioned

parameters.

o Changes wire and monitors gases.

o Communicates inventory of consumable parts.

o Cleans/Changes drive wheels when necessary.

o Produces quality parts with very limited number of rejects and rework.

o Demonstrates solid product knowledge of all parts commonly run in the department and their components.

o Reads and understands weld prints and symbols. Completes own work to print requirements.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 40lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• Knowledge of fixtures (6 months of experience is preferred)

• Mig (6 months of experience is preferred)

• Heavy Lifting (6 months of experience is preferred)

• Robotic Welding (6 months of experience is preferred)

• Hand Welding (6 months of experience is preferred)

• High School
