Accountant

Our large international banking client is seeking a GL Accountant to join their fast growing team. They need someone who comes with at least 3 years of general ledger accounting experience, preferrably from a larger organization, who is eager to learn! If this sounds like you please keep reading!

Responsibilities

• Perform analytics related to FTP, liquidity, capital, balance sheet optimization, pricing / valuation and the competition across multiple retail product types

• Liaison with lines of business (LOB) Controllers, P&A, Corporate Treasury, CIO Treasury, CCB Treasury Analytics, Capital Management and CFO groups on framework changes, new business initiatives, regulations, and other Corporate and senior management deliverables

• Validating the CCB retail deposit outflows assumptions in a time of stress for use with the liquidity stress testing purposes

• Responsible for completing control checks, reconciliations and variance analysis

• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives including streamlining of existing process

• Update liquidity assumptions for on and off-balance sheet exposures.

• Using updated LIBOR rates and CD spreads to calculate the discount rates needed to determine the fair value of the CD portfolios for all LOBs

Skills

• Accounting (3 years of experience is required)

• Public company

• CPA Candidate (1 year of experience is preferred)

• SAP (1 year of experience is preferred)
