Basic Requirements :

• 10 – 12+ years of experience in software development including design, coding, testing, and support

• 3+ years of Cloud infrastructure experience working with one or more of the following Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud services: EC2, S3, Cloud Formation

• Hands-on experiences with AWS architecture design, Data Management, Big Data-HDP and CDP

• Proficient with platform migration from Hortonworks Data Platform(HDP) to Cloudera Data Platform(CDP)

• Proficient with Analysis, high level design, coding, testing, and implementation, performance tuning, bug fixing and quality control

• 3+ years of experience with Agile, Kanban, or Scrum methodologies

• 5+ years of experience using Python, Spark, and Shell Scripting

• Experience with leading complex data applications with large volumes of data

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or IT, advanced degree preferred

• Work with Product Owners to understand the desired capability, to define and prioritize work, determine deliverables, and manage workloads

• Fully utilize AWS with services such as Cloud Formation Templates, S3, EC2 and many more

• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to construct a product delivery strategy, roadmaps, and timelines

• Lead technical discussions and must be able to work and influence many cross functional teams

• Act as an agent for change regarding the new technologies and tools, promote top code quality by leading design and code reviews, and solve challenging issues related to performance tuning and scalability

• Partner with the Innovation Lab to develop intuitive and useful features using an Agile approach
