Global manufacturer with locations nationwide is seeking an Energy Engineer for their facility in the Jackson TN area. Ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering (or related technical/military training) and 3+ years experience with Energy Management.

This position will work with management and the engineering team to develop opportunities to reduce energy consumption, reduce emissions of green house gasses and drive energy cost savings

responsibilities:

• Develop annual energy targets and action plans for Green House Gasses.

• Educate employees on importance of energy conservation and how they can have a direct impact on the environment.

• Innovate and lead breakthrough initiatives related to improving energy performance such as implementation of new technologies, energy projects, and employee engagement.

• Development and implementation of an ISO50001 compliant energy management system across multiple facilities and corporate office. Obtain and maintain ISO50001 certification at all North American sites.

• Work closely with regional utility providers at each site to minimize costs, reduce Green House Gasses and risk.
