Our client is a well-established wholesale distributor that operates in the vertical space of HVAC/heating and plumbing that has been in business for well over half a century. Servicing contractors, builders, engineers, and wholesale distributors in the Pacific Northwest region. Our client actively works in both the residential and commercial sectors supplying reputable product lines for businesses alike.

Key requirements include: Excellent mechanical aptitude with exposure to HVAC/heating and plumbing product lines. The perfect candidate will poses a proven track record of success in the areas of sales and mechanical knowledge as it pertains product lines in which they provide.

Compensation package includes competitive base salary and commission incentives, medical benefits that are covered 100% by the company, monthly paid car allowance, company gas card and phone.

responsibilities:

• Prospect and call on consulting engineers, in the disciplined areas of mechanical & design/build contractors, architects, end-users and company owners to achieve annual sales and gross margin objectives.

• Execute sales initiatives, design, and conduct application training to the critical decision makers that will drive business forward.

• Develop/create new business opportunities with the implementation of utilizing thoughtful and methodical organized prospecting that will increase the company’s share of business from the assigned territory regions.

• Conduct take-off’s of plans and specifications, develop and price estimates, write thorough and accurate proposals and bid jobs accordingly.

• Participate in local and regional trade organization activities and attend trade shows to capture future business and to represent the companys brand.

• Provide and/or coordinate accurate technical and product training for customers.
