The Applications Developer will design and develop applications and processes, both as part of a team and individually, in support of the company’s business operations.
Essential Duties:
Work with stakeholders to compile business requirements and translate them into application features.
Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications.
Design and develop applications according to specifications.
Ensure security of applications and the data they contain, and compliance with all regulations and company policies.
Perform unit and integration testing.
Coordinate user acceptance testing with end users and stakeholders.
Deploy applications within the selected infrastructure.
Maintain, support, and enhance existing applications in service.
Proactively evaluate existing applications to add new features, improve user experience, etc.
Manage time on multiple projects with varying deadlines.
Participate in regular meetings with members of the IT team to discuss ongoing projects.
Perform other essential duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems or relevant field.
2+ years’ experience as an applications developer designing and building applications.
2+ years’ experience with Yardi Property Management and Accounting software
Ability to develop high-quality web applications utilizing modern web standards (HTML, CSS, etc.).
Experience programming in C#, ASP.NET, and/or .NET Core.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database (design, data structures, query writing, etc.).
Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio as an IDE (integrated development environment).
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure App Services, Microsoft Identity, and other Azure services.
Understanding of software design and programming principles.
Must be willing to work on-site and show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or request and receive an authorized exemption).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Entity Framework and/or EF Core.
Experience within the Commercial Real Estate industry, particularly with Yardi Systems.
Familiarity with REST API concepts; preferably, experience programming to provide and/or consume REST APIs.
Experience with process automation and/or creation of unattended processes (e.g., console applications, Azure functions, python scripts, SQL scheduled jobs, etc.).
Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.
