In this role you’ll build, monitor, automate and maintain the systems and infrastructure that ensure our customers can quickly access their data and run workloads whenever and wherever they need to. We identify service problems and areas for improvement, and we follow up by fixing those problems and automating the solutions.

This role, in particular, should be an experienced DevOps Engineer who wants to make an impact on an organization that is experiencing significant growth and looking to hyper-scale.

For this role you’ll also have the incredible opportunity to mentor some of the best young talents in software, taking on a leadership and guidance role for our team.

What you’ll do:

• Be a thought leader and mentor to the SRE function at RecordPoint
• Be responsible for the entire hardware and software stack that delivers Records365 to customers around the world 24/7
• Design, configure, test, maintain and administer new and upgraded infrastructure, and software applications and automate many of the manual steps along the way
• Solve availability/performance problems and build software-based solutions to address the root issue
• Implement metrics, monitoring, and incident response processes as well as change management and capacity planning processes
• Diagnose and solve user-facing service outages and resolve problems in high-throughput web applications and network services
• Share a 24/7 on-call rotation with engineers

What you’ll need:

• Proven experience working in an SRE / DevOps / Infrastructure role
• Excellent knowledge and extensive experience working within the Microsoft .NET technology stack
• An attitude that if it’s worth doing, it’s worth automating
• Proven experience designing, building and operating, deploying, debugging, and production SaaS services
• A degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software development experience

Highly Desirable:

• Experience working with applications running on Service Fabric and Azure Infrastructure
• Experience with operating Kubernetes, and Docker in a production environment
• Experience administering, optimising, and supporting applications with a PostgreSQL back-end
