We’re looking for an experienced Lead Engineer as we are developing new features and working on multi-tenancy projects. What will you be doing?

The next step in our vision is to roll out exciting new features and enhancements using modern event streaming solutions on cloud-first technology. In the first 6 to 12 months, you will be working on a mix of green field projects using micro-service architecture and existing projects. Some of your key accountabilities:

• Thought leadership to find innovative solutions to disrupt the superannuation field
• Design, build, test, and deploy quality product-based software to clients
• Collaborate with architects, developers, BAs, Delivery Leads, QAs and external stakeholders
• Analyse and deconstruct complex problems spaces
• Lead and mentor a team of Software Engineers
• Support and uplift engineering best practices and capabilities

What are we looking for?

Being a small company, your ability to work closely with your peers will be the key to your success in addition to some technical expertise:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop people
• Excellent in C#, ASP.NET, Web API, and REST (min 4 years)
• Advanced skills in Entity Framework, RDBMS, MS SQL Server, MongoDB and PowerShell
• Solid experience in front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Vue and Angular
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure such as Azure or AWS
• Able to breakdown business problems, perform options analysis and make recommendations on desired technical solutions
• Understanding of modern engineering practices and application architecture

• Bonus: Developed consumer-centric software and experience with Postgres
