The Role
This opportunity is available because the Administration Assistant I placed into this role just over a year ago has moved into a new role within the team so there is the opportunity to learn on the job and continue your career within the business.
It is important that you have worked in a customer service job before that had a good amount of coordination involved, this will mean you have a great platform to build new skills from. The responsibility of this role includes customer service to clients, administration, and documentation support to a team of three, managing the day-to-day function of the office, ordering consumables, and keeping things running seamlessly, keeping ahead of clients’ needs – plenty of variety guaranteed.
The systems and processes are well established and proven to work; the industry is very regulated so you must pride yourself on working within structured guidelines.
Over time there will be the opportunity to take on more client support work. The team are knowledgeable, and experienced, and completely rely on this person to be proactive, accurate and take pride in their work.
Your personality
In a nutshell, the type of personality we are seeking is someone who likes to provide support to others, who takes great pride in their work, enjoys being spot-on with attention to detail, and has a keenness to learn. The industry is complex and interesting, so you need to be naturally inquisitive, proactive in finding out answers, and able to pick up systems and processes to ensure that accuracy is always top-notch. A positive and confident communication style is absolutely needed.
