Location: 449 Industrial Avenue near the Main Street Skytrain Station.

Job Description
Reporting to and taking direction from the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for sorting and preparing recycling materials, cleaning totes and assisting with other related tasks which includes:
– Sorting of recycling materials into various categories, including: paper, cardboard, mixed containers (plastics, metals, glass), Styrofoam, batteries, cell phones, soft plastics and others.
– Operating conveyor in accordance with operating instructions.
– Maintain work area in a safe and organized manner.
– Aware of surrounding area and other employees to ensure safety at all times.
– Work quickly and efficiently to ensure flow of materials being sorted.
– Thoroughly washes all dirty totes.
– Assist warehouse staff in the yard and off-loading drivers as necessary.
– Is able to continue working independently with minimal supervision as well as working closely with other co-workers when necessary.
