The Director of Operations supports the Vice President of Professional Services, who is responsible for all delivery and consulting services at Red River. This position directly impacts the success and business growth, by serving as a dependable resource to the VP and supporting processes and operations within the Professional Services Organization (PSO). As the PSO is a shared service across the three Red River Business Units, this individual is essential in the cross functional success of the division. The incumbent will be an important internal liaison, ensuring effective collaboration with other departments within Red River including Finance, Business Operations, and Business Development.
Primary Position Tasks :
Define, implement, and revise operational policies and guidelines for the PSO.
Focus on processes that add value
Optimize and automate where needed.
Execute continuous improvements with directives as it relates to corporate and team goals.
Work with human resources to create job descriptions and human capital plans, assist with competent hiring, and oversee employee training and evaluation programs.
Liaise with other departments to develop financial plans and ensure company-wide operational compliance and accurate reporting. Prepare for and participate in budget reviews
Regularly meet with staff at all levels of the company to present operations progress and identify areas for improvement.
Build processes and automate workflows within PSO.
Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
8-10 years of related experience
Formal training and business process management experience
Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau and other intelligence platforms.
Previous experience within the technology industry.
Agile fundamentals
Resource Management
Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:
ITIL v4 preferred
PMP preferred
Lean experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in MS Office 365 and MS SharePoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strategic thinker
Innovative mindset
Collaborative and able to work with other departments.
Problem solver
Excellent problem-solving skills
Knowledge of finance and budget principles with cost center operations.
Essential Elements (Mental; Physical; Equipment used):
This position is an office position that requires remaining in a stationary position for multiple hours throughout the workday.
This position requires the ability to continuously communicate with co-workers throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and/or provided communication tools and equipment.
Special Requirements:
The candidate will work from a Red River Office or approved remote office with occasional travel to support Red River, customers, and partners.
Compensation: $150-175k plus bonus
