Lumber Marketplace is looking to hire its first Full-Stack Developer who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning and continuous improvement of our revolutionary online platform connecting lumber sellers and buyers.

• Take ownership of full-stack development objectives, leading by example and making an immediate impact.
• Implement innovative solutions to complex technical challenges and contribute to the growth of the platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize user experience, ensuring smooth transactions for our users.
• Develop and maintain backend processes, and design and implement responsive front-end interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and provide innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience as a full-stack software engineer (ideally 5+ years) and working at a startup or as an entrepreneur
• Backend Mastery: Node.js, AWS technologies (ElastiCache, Lambda, OpenSearch, ELB), data modeling, and modern data storage solutions
• Frontend Mastery: Experience in React or similar library, responsive design, and solid understanding of API RESTful architectures
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, TDD, and modern frontend build pipelines
• Some experience with infrastructure, DevOps, and modern tooling
• Familiarity with online marketplaces or e-commerce platforms
