Overview

Reel Start is looking to engage information technology freelancer to support our student and organizational technology. The primary focus will be on student laptops and Google Workspace systems.

Type: Freelance Contractor

Billing: Hourly

Compensation: To be discussed

Starting: ASAP

Roles and Responsibilities

Supporting student laptops, including guidance on and implementation of: General set-up

• Maintaining via Go To Resolve

• Software installation and activation

• Firewall, tracking and security

• Providing IT support to students

• Helping RS with IT issues related to

• Additional IT services as needed

System Familiarity

• Mac OS

• Go to Resolve

• Google Workspace

• Google Classroom

Ideal Candidate

• Flexibility

• Los Angeles based

• Experience in education IT

• Familiarity with data security and minors

Reel Start is a non-profit that educates, develops, and empowers the next generation of diverse creators and craftspeople. Through our 22-week classroom, 24 highschoolers from Los Angeles and Toronto get hands-on with the filmmaking process by writing and producing short films
