Refresh Your Memory, Inc Hiring for Part Time Bookkeeper/Office Assistant Job at Corvallis, OR Full Time

We are looking for a part time bookkeeper to handle standard accounting tasks and HR duties at a small company in Corvallis. The key qualification for this position is your strong Quickbooks background. Individual must be detail oriented and able to take ownership of tasks and manage them to completion. You will work closely with our full-time customer support rep who will perform invoicing and process payments for our software maintenance program. You will work onsite, sometimes with others and sometimes alone from our Corvallis office handling some tasks that require a physical presence for us when not performing bookkeeping duties. We have offloaded answering of phones and many customer facing duties so this position will be able to concentrate on those key onsite tasks and the bookkeeping.

Primary responsibilities:

• Invoicing
• Processing payments
• Bank account reconciliation
• Accounting report generation for the business owners
• Processing taxes (federal, state, business, payroll, sales)
• Organization of inventory
• Shipping parts to customers
• Facilitating same day shipments when an engineer is onsite needing parts
• Approving reimbursements and generating checks
• Work with off-site CPA to facilitate tax returns and general ledger entries
• Human Resources responsibilities include running payroll, administering benefits programs, insurance, and updating employee handbooks
• Accounts-receivable overdue follow-up

Key Skills:

• Quickbooks. Minimum 3 years. Quickbooks Online experience preferred.
• Benefits administration – minimum 1 year
• Ability to establish and maintain strong processes to make sure that things run smoothly
• Project management – including knowing when to delegate or outsource
• Office application usage including especially Microsoft Excel
• Outstanding organization skills

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Zoho CRM
• Crystal Reports
