Registered Psychologist & Occupational Therapist 

Join our wonderful multidisciplinary team at Creative Therapy Village. Excellent remuneration as a subcontractor with flexible hours 4 Days per week within a beautiful supportive team.

• Currently the team consists of an Art Therapist, Play Therapist, Counsellor, and Social Worker.
• Part-time, up to 4 days Flexible working hours can be negotiated for the right candidates.

About the Role:

We have 2 positions available. Occupational Therapist and Registered Psychologist. We offer 4-day positions, hours can can be negotiated to meet the candidate’s needs and Creative Therapy Village room allocations and client needs/caseload. 

The successful applicants will be responsible for providing quality evidence-based assessment, treatment and therapeutic support to children & young people referred to our service and their families. Contribute to team meetings/peer supervision. We work with many neurodiverse people in our community and appreciate clinicians who are attuned, clinically understanding and astute to the needs, challenges and strengths of our neurodiverse community. 

What you’ll achieve:

• Informed psychological practice to clients by providing expert clinical and psychological assessment, clinical formulation, and diagnosis. (Psychologist) 
• Provide specialised assessment & therapeutic services, family work and psychoeducation as required.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, timely client records that reflect consultations/sessions using Cliniko software.
• Report writing and assessment including letters and assessment for NDIS participants.
• Participate in peer supervision and external clinical supervision. 

Your skills and experience:

• Hold a minimum Master of Psychology degree qualification from an accredited course/university. (Psychologist position)
• Hold a minimum Occupational Therapy degree qualification from an accredited course/university. (Occupational therapist position)
• Be registered with the relevant registration body for your industry; Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA), ACA, AAPTA, PACFA, ANZACATA, OBTA/AHPRA.
• Continuously satisfy the requirements of the registration body by continuing professional development standards
• Uphold the relevant Registration Body Code of Ethics
• 2 years of experience in your field is advantageous but not essential
