Title: Patient Service Representative

Location: Detroit Lakes, MN

Overview: Rehab Authority is seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our dynamic out-patient orthopedic clinic. We take pride in our ability to provide the highest level of personable care and superior customer service. This position is full-time and eligible for the benefits listed below.

Job Duties:

• Greet patients promptly and in a helpful manner
• Answer incoming phone calls
• Schedule patient appointments
• Obtain accurate patient health insurance, demographics and referral information
• Collect necessary co-pays and patient financial responsibilities at time of visit
• Reconcile payment reports
• Perform general administrative tasks including faxing, e-filing, and managing patient records
• Obtain authorizations (training available)
• Work with other staff members to maintain cleanliness and appearance of work area, lobby and treatment spaces

Job Requirements:

• 6+ months medical office administration experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Basic computer and software skills
• Ability to multi-task well under pressure
• Extremely detail-oriented and thorough
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Passionate about physical therapy
