Purchasing Specialist Position

Remediation Services, Inc. (RSI), based in Independence, KS is a
nationwide Environmental Contractor and we are looking for a Purchasing
Specialist. This person must be able to work in a fast-paced office and
be detail-oriented. Tasks and responsibilities are as follows but not
limited to:

Source materials, rental equipment and subcontractors from new or
existing vendors and determine permit or licensing requirements and
costs for possible projects.

Set up new vendors and subcontractors for awarded projects.

Confirm pricing and issue purchase orders and subcontracts and schedule
subcontractors and the delivery of materials and rental equipment based
on project schedule.

Track rental equipment status.

Subcontractor Invoice review and approval.

Provide daily project purchasing support to the project
superintendent/project manager for current projects.

Preparation of waste profile and tracking approvals

Travel arrangements flights, hotel and car rental.

This is a full-time hourly position with benefits which include
health, dental and life insurance, 401K and vacation. Salary is based
