This role will assist the General Manager/Leadership of North Texas Renewal by Andersen.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to learn and grow in the workplace. The Office Administrative Assistant will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, flow of correspondence, processing installation packs, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING | THE ROLE
- All-encompassing role throughout the branch
- Greeting and directing all guests and visitors at Foyer/lobby work station
- Organize and facilitate teammate events throughout the year.
- This role is truly a position that is diverse and is “far-reaching” in basic skills with regards to cleaning, filing, office-type work, decorating, organizing, activity planning and ordering of supplies.
- Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel as needed.
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
- Puts together installation packs for the Production Team and place in the installation packets.
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, scanning, filing and collating
- Maintains the upkeep and service for copy machines and other building contracts
WHAT YOU’LL BRING | THE PERSON
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a Texas valid driver’s license along with reliable transportation.
- Must have good observational skills.
- Must be able to walk, stand, sit, kneel, stoop, crawl, twist, reach above head, pull, bend and possess all sufficient basic physical faculties to properly complete responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of administrative duties
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Time management skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Proficient in all aspects of business communications, i.e.: teammates, guests, phone, email, text and mail.
- Objectivity, professionalism and maturity
- Flexibility and demonstrated ability to adapt well in a changing environment
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Accurate, efficient and proven data entry skills
