Job Function:
The human resource business partner is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function for the assigned client group at a manufacturing location(s). In addition, the HR Business Partner may support other areas of the business as needed.

Develops and administers various human resources plan and procedures for all client group personnel. Leads and develops a team of HR Generalists and Assistants based on size of client group Drives talent management processes within client group, including sourcing, onboarding, developing, and retaining talent, succession planning, and performance management. Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers; writes and places advertisements; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; extends job offers; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-path program and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews. Implements and annually updates the compensation program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; conducts annual salary surveys and develops merit pool (salary budget); analyzes compensation; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary. Develops, recommends, and implements employment policies and procedures; prepares and maintains written policies and procedures. Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars. Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to drive continuous improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Remain current on all applicable federal, state and local employment laws to ensure compliance within the client group. Recommend solutions to other HR Business Partners as appropriate Supports enterprise initiatives as needed
