ResMed is accepting applications for Graduate Software Systems Engineer within our Product Development – Devices Team.
We are a small, cohesive and highly collaborative group of engineers working within the wider Software Team. Our team strives to be dynamic and agile while solving complex problems.
This role offers you the opportunity to work in a leading medical company where you will be responsible in defining aspects of the latest devices being developed by ResMed. Your responsibilities as a Software Systems Engineer would include the following
Specification of end-to-end system functionality
Liaising with teams within the wider business to achieve the best product for our patients
Shaping key characteristics of the system and its architecture
Managing the expectation and involvement of multiple stakeholders
Engaging in constructive conflict as appropriate
Overseeing verification and validation plans, protocols and results for the features that you have defined
Proactively finding information as opposed to waiting for information

Let’s talk about you:
For this role, we expect that you have completed a degree in Engineering (Systems, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, etc) from a University and able to start work in a full time capacity as soon as possible.
You will have some serious interest in systems and a curiosity to explore the complexity of our systems. Also essential are a creative approach to resolving technical issues and a willingness to participate in technical reviews of validation and verification plans, protocols, and reports. There is a wealth of technology here at ResMed, so you will need to learn quickly and deeply.
You should also hold a current Australian / New Zealand citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency at the time of application and can provide an academic transcript that demonstrates a minimum credit average or weighted average mark of 65% across all university studies.
Preference will be given to candidates with work experience related to their degree either as an intern or a graduate.
