Data Entry Clerk Daily Duties:

• Entering data into appropriate fields; databases, records, and files in CRM
• Document insurance policy retention,
• Assist with processing of policy endorsements, policy changes, or revisions
• Handling numerical data accurately; creating spreadsheets
• Organizing spreadsheets with large numbers
• Updating CRM databases or records with new information as it becomes available
• Correcting and modifying inaccurate insurance files and records
• Typing data directly and accurately
• Verifying if insurance policy is correct by checking and comparing source documentation
• Organizing paper formats, paper backups, and material source files as needed

Data Entry Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School or GED
• Data entry 10key 4000 kph
• Accurate and precise attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize and work independently
• Assists team members and policyholders when needed
• Fast and accurate typist 40+ wpm
• 2- 5 years of data entry experience
• Experience working in an insurance office is a huge plus
• Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Enjoys the challenge of a fast-paced environment
• Teachable and coachable
