In support of our client, a leading steel manufacturer, we are seeking an Administrative Assistant located in Blytheville, AR.This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential to be hired directly.

JOB SUMMARY

The Administrative Assistant will assist the Department Head by performing administrative tasks: creating reports, editing and modifying documents, schedule appointments, provide information to callers, take dictation, and otherwise relieve officials of clerical work and administrative details.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, reserve, and prepare facilities, and record and transcribe minutes of meetings.
• Organize and maintain file system, and files correspondence and other records.
• Compose and type routine correspondence.
• Answer and screen manager’s telephone calls and arranges conference calls.
• Coordinate manager’s schedule and makes appointments.
• Greet scheduled visitors and conduct to appropriate area or person.
• Arrange and coordinate travel schedules and reservations.
• Conduct research and compile statistical reports.
• Make copies of correspondence or other printed materials.
• Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence including e-mail and faxes.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for equipment maintenance.
• Administer schedule, reporting, correspondence, department meetings and other activities.
• Provide review and maintenance of department records for Management review and/or presentation.
• Format and proofread documents and correspondence.
• Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the Company.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience is required
• 2-5 years of administrative assistance experience is required
• Intermediate Microsoft skills required including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
