Retro Biosciences Hiring for Talent Acquisition (TA) Generalist at Redwood City, CA Full Time

We are looking for a highly organized and self-motivated Talent Acquisition Generalist who craves a challenge and feels energized to roll up their sleeves. You will work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. You’ll be part and parcel with the Retro ops team and work on various initiatives and special projects with both, Retro scientists and Ops team. You’ll be juggling multiple balls at once sometimes, but affirmatively within the constraints of a healthy, happy working environment.

What you’ll do in this role:

• Attract a team of the world’s most capable scientists and a range of other technical positions to power research at Retro
• Manage the full recruiting process from creating job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers to onboarding hired candidates
• Work with Retro’s science team to identify and reach out to promising candidates
• Conduct in-depth phone screens and personal interviews to evaluate fit
• Coordinate on-site candidate visitations, including scheduling and logistics
• Continually assess recruitment process and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities to improve/streamline
• Gather feedback from candidates regarding their experience during the interview process
• You will report to the VP of Operations

You might thrive in this role if you:

• 2+ years in recruiting, marketing, sales, and/or close association with scientists
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy connecting with intellectually curious individuals
• Attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills
• A desire to learn science and engage with scientists
• Experience using ATS (e.g. Lever, Greenhouse)

Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
