Revenue Cycle Service Center, LLC Hiring for Correspondence Clerk- Remote at Tucson, AZ Full Time

This position is remote.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• To accurately receive, review, scan and forward correspondence.
• Present clear and concise explanations of governing rules to eensure that all federal & state regulations, contractual compliance and company guidelines and standards are met.
• Compose letters and other correspondence to customers inquiring about incorrect billings, claims, invoices and other issues.
• Respond to questions about delinquent accounts and direct customers on how to resolve them.
• Pull Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
• Prepare claims and invoices and print and mail itemized bills.
• Process credit card refunds for insurance and patient refunds for credit card payments only.
• Enter appropriate codes on the system, updates current account information, and generates letters.
• Pull necessary information for audits.
• Maintain files that detail correspondence activity.
• Receive and routes correspondence to appropriate people or departments.
• Submit medical records requests.
• Ensure correct customer information is included.
• Read, interpret, and respond to incoming correspondence.
• Complete Bank Deposits.
• Prepare records for shipment by certified mail.
• Responds to other requests and direct telephone calls.
• Back up for Customer Service Representatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma required

EXPERIENCE:

• Two years of general office support experience required
