We are seeking a Lifecycle Services Specialist to join our Rexel team in Orlando, FL!

Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for driving the region’s business strategy to accelerate growth in the industrial segment group. The Lifecycle Services Specialist will be the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and the distributor, provide technical and commercial leadership for sales growth. Additionally, the expectation of the Services Specialist is to commercially support the Automation business as part of your day-to-day activities. The performance of this specialist group is judged on the revenue performance of the Services planning segments.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Account Managers and customers to uncover and qualify Rockwell services opportunities at existing and new accounts.
• Analyze market conditions, develop an annual business plan and coordinate its implementation with Rockwell and Rexel Account Management teams.
• Define and grow new markets for emerging product technologies aligned with Rockwell’s Connected Enterprise Initiative.
• Identify customer needs, propose solutions and work with Account Managers to close orders for assigned products and services.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Presentation skills for both group and individual situations at all levels of customer organization (high level management, Engineering, Human Resources, Purchasing).
• Ability to identify customer needs, propose solutions and close orders. Able to identify and affect customer internal support processes which affect purchasing decisions.
• Ability to lead and coordinate sales teaming efforts (including RA) required to identify project sales opportunities.
• Ability to promote the value-add of the services portfolio in competitive situations.
• Effective listening, communication, negotiation and consensus-building skills.
• Ability to transform product and service sales opportunities into system sales opportunities when appropriate (Motion Control, Drive Systems, Engineered Services, Connected Enterprise)
• Leadership Skills.

Qualifications:

• A four year engineering or technical degree or appropriate experience.
• Ability to identify and present services solutions for customer applications.
• Understanding of services business, Asset Management, OnSite Support, Repair/Reman, Training, TechConnect, Field Services, LOTO, Arch Flash & Delivered Services.
• Ability to manage a project including pull through business of associated products from Rockwell Encompass partners as well as standard electrical goods.
• Valid driver’s license for Region of business operation with a good driving record.

1) Technical Competency

• Effectively and accurately handles most technical questions and objections for assigned products.
• Provides guidance and selection advice for both Rockwell and distributor delivered services.
• Able to differentiate products/solutions from competition and promote the differences as meaningful benefits to the customer.
• Network and Safety Competency. Ability to highlight the benefits of networks and how to sell network services. Know plant safety, Lock out tag out, Arc Flash.
• Communicate commercial and technical product issues to Rockwell Automation Domain Experts and business units.
• Develop competency programs for Distributor sales, specialists, and self

2) Marketing Competency

• Act as the point person for the Automation business strategy at the APR level(s) supported.
• Support the development and implementation of the distributor business plan for the Automation business.
• Analyze and document market conditions, competitive offerings and identify opportunities for growth in the APR(s) they support.
• Be able to articulate Rockwell Automation’s value proposition in the Automation space both commercially and technically.
• Assist with implementing marketing, promotion programs, and product launches for services businesses.
• Lead Automation commercial programs, customer events and activities.

3) Sales Leadership Competency

• Exceed growth targets in business revenue and management objectives.
• Ensure sufficient funnel in the Services business space to achieve plan.
• Coordinate sales teaming efforts required to identify and close account conversions and project sales opportunities.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff to make an accurate assessment of customer needs. Ability to create and make presentations.

Ability to verify and calculate figures such as commissions. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to use sound judgment and problem solving skills to analyze customer problems and to recommend the proper course of action. Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements.
