Rezdy Hiring for Front End Software Engineer (React) Job at Sydney, Australia Full Time

The Software Web Engineering and Product teams at Rezdy are transforming how we design and build software solutions for our users. We are delivering more value, much faster as we leverage a fine grained microservice architecture approach. This role gives you the opportunity to have an impact on defining the tools, services and principles we use to high quality software for a highly available SaaS platform.
This role is a Front End Developer within our passionate Booking Software team working on industry leading software. The role is responsible for developing our various software applications/platforms along with providing guidance to more junior Web Developers.
Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering world class software that delights our customers and exceeds the expectations of our business
• Sizing, estimations, management and delivery of product backlogs
• Supporting and promoting an Agile development environment
• Assisting with the technical design of the software/platforms
• Driving code quality by conducting code reviews, unit testing and other automated tests
• Contributing to developmental technology experimentation, selection and implementation
• Engaging across the business to create and refine our software applications and platforms
• Assisting junior Software Web Developers
• Embodying and championing Rezdy’s values

Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

• 3+ years Web Developer/development experience front-end development (JavaScript / React / TypeScript)
• Deeply passionate about web technologies
• Front end Javascript frameworks (React – must have CSS – must have, Less/Sass – nice to have)
• Understanding of scaled agile and devOps development environments
• Experience working with modern, web based architectures, inc. REST APIs (must), GraphQL (nice to have)
• Computer Science / Software Web Developer degree – advantageous
• Cloud infrastructure experience – advantageous
• Organisational and communication skills with experience encouraging a culture of collaboration
• Passionate about web technologies and applications/platforms
• Down-to-earth, make it happen, analytical and detail oriented with a strong drive and innovative approach
