Opportunity

RIB International are looking for an experienced and talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Product development team in our Toowong Office. The successful applicant will be crucial in helping the team in achieving the company’s objectives and growth.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Software Development Manager, Product Manager, developers and QA in an Agile Scrum team to develop and maintain quality software solutions, integrations and implementations
• Working on continuous improvement, and new functionality software projects
• Estimating effort required to implement proposed solutions
• Suggesting possible alternatives with pros and cons for proposed solutions
• Discussing requirements with Product Mangers and testers
• Peer Reviewing your colleagues work according to coding standards
• Training and providing guidance to less senior team members
• Actively participate in daily scrums, team meetings.

Requirements

• University Degree and / or Industry certifications
  • 5+ Years’ experience with Microsoft .NET programming languages
  • 5+ Years’ experience working delivery web based solutions
  • Exceptional diagnostic and debugging skills
• Experience working with:
  • C#, Delphi
  • MVC 5
  • REST Web Services
  • nHibernate
  • Dependency Injection
  • HTML, CSS, jQuery
  • Visual Studio
  • SVN
  • Unit Testing
  • Agile / Scrum

Highly Desirable

• Construction Industry Software Experience
• Experience with Azure Cloud Platform
